The town Úst nad Orlic was founded in 13th century. The decanal church Ascension of Our Lady is the dominant of the town. Visitors can see the sights as is the square, the building of the denomination Jednota bratrská from the year 1555, the secession building of Hendrych’s villa, the theatre that Mr. Kamil Roškot built. The pilgrimage place with the Stations of the Cross is a restaurant and the outlook-tower Andrlův hurst. Guests are encouraged to visit the surrounding tourist attractions in Česká Třebová, Litomyšl, Lanškroun, Brandýs nad Orlic, Jablonného, Žamberka end many others. Cultural self-realization: The Roškot’s theatre or the Kocian’s violin contests; you can visit the museum, two art galleries and the urban library etc.
Sporting activities: The aqua park with a spiral chute, tennis courts, table tennis, sauna and a covered swimming pool.The region is suitable for downhill skiing. There are many downhill courses in ski resort Deštné, ?čky and in Če?kovice. The region is suitable for cross-country skiing. There are many marked routes for ski runners in the surroundings. Trips: ZOO Safari Dvůr Králové, Grandmother´s Valley - Ratibořice, Adršpach Rocks, Bethlehem´s town - Třebechovice pod Orebem, Castle Kuks near Dvůr Králové, Hostinné - antique museum.
